What’s your prescription for success?

I look at some of these amazing athletes, and I say to myself, I’ve never been that gifted. Ever. But I figured something out. I figured out a true plan that works for me and it’s as simple as it gets: Just work. Period. It’s not about sports; I’ve just applied it TO sports, but I apply it to every facet of my life. I can’t control my talent level, but I can control the amount of work I put in 100%.

When is a good time to take this product and how [long] should I be on it ? Will I see a change from it?

Mickyd5, you'll want to take the product 30-45 minutes before you start your workout. Power Fuel contains ingredients that will help promote focus, strength and size gains, and delay fatigue and just help kick your performance up a few notches. The way I think of it is that Power Fuel helps me prepare so that I can get more out of a workout. If I can put more work in during my training, I'll get better results. In terms of how long you should use the product, the product label states that “after 12 weeks of use, discontinue for at least 4 weeks.” I'm a cautious guy when it comes to nutrition, I always recommend following the label instructions. How much caffeine is in the formula?

That’s a great question, lineday. Power Fuel contains 120 mg, about the same as a typical cup of coffee. I’ve never been a big caffeine guy and I don’t drink soda, coffee or any soft drinks, really…I actually drink 2 gallons of water every day to keep my system “clean.” I knew I didn’t want an overly caffeinated product, and Twinlab agreed. Caffeine plays an important role to help get me energized and focused, but it doesn’t overwhelm the other ingredients designed to boost size, strength and power gains. I think we found the perfect balance.

Is one serving enough to take before a game? And if so, when should I take it?

For many people, one serving is all it takes to feel it kicking in, while others prefer two. Everybody is different and I believe that it’s important to listen to your body, so I recommend trying one serving first to determine your tolerance. To answer your other question, I would suggest taking the product about 30 - 45 minutes before a workout or game. Check out the use instructions for all the details.
