Twinlab-Full Throttle Endurance Racing Finishes First at Harryman Olympic Triathlon
Athlete Jesse Du Bey Continued a Two-Month Winning Streak This Weekend in New York
Twinlab-Full Throttle Endurance Racing celebrated victory yet again this weekend when team member Jesse Du Bey crossed the finish line in first place at the Harryman Olympic Triathlon in New York on Saturday.
The race marks the second month of an enduring winning streak by Du Bey, which started with an overall win at the South Beach Triathlon in April and continued earlier this month with an overall amateur win at Ironman St. Croix 70.3.
Du Bey wasn’t the only team member to see the podium on Saturday, with teammates Mark Guay, Joe Marinucci, Tom Slon and Bill Kelly all taking home top three division finishes.
“This week is a recovery week for Team Full Throttle,” says head coach Scott Berlinger. “We’ll lower the intensity and work on form and steady volume while we recover and get ready to race the Montauk Triathlon in three weeks.”
Considered among triathletes to be the east end season opener, the RJA Memorial Mighty Montauk Triathlon is anything but a new conquest for the New York-based endurance team, which will enter the event with both last year’s men’s and women’s overall winners, Bill Kelly and Allison Lind.
