NYC Triathlon Champs: Twinlab-Full Throttle Endurance Racing Podiums at 2009 Event

On Sunday, July 26, Twinlab-Full Throttle Endurance Racing participated in the 9th annual Nautica® New York City 2009 Triathlon, along with approximately 3,000 other athletes. The event included a 1500m swim in the Hudson River, followed by a 40km biking segment over the Henry Hudson Highway on Manhattan’s west side. Participants finished off the race with a 10km run through Central Park.

The Twinlab-Full Throttle Endurance Racing team came in first with a team total of 64.5 points (24.5 points over their nearest competitors!).

“It was a very tough race with the most competitive field we've seen at the NYC Triathlon,” said Scott Berlinger, the team’s head coach. “It made defending our 2008 Team Title that much better.”
