Cut down super-sized snacks

Learn to create appropriate snack-size portions

Challenge Duration: 3X over 1 week

“Often times people say they are eating a snack but their snack has more unnecessary calories than one of their three daily meals. Don’t be a victim of snacking the wrong way. For example, if you have a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, and mustard, this is a healthy meal choice. But if your snack is an individual size bag of potato chips and a 12 oz soda, chances are your potato chip and soda snack is packing more calories than your turkey sandwich. I challenge you to look at the calories of your snacks and make sure they contain less than half the calories of your meals.”
