What events or activities will you be focusing on over the next few months? – Tim Taylor
My focus moving forward into the rest of summer and fall will be doing further research, experimentation and writing on anti-aging concepts. The science in this area is on the cutting edge of really helping people realize the truth of the old saying, “You’re only as old as you feel,” but with the caveat that this ‘feeling’ is a great deal more in our control than has been previously thought in any other time in our history. The health of the human body can be measured in a variety of ways, from VO2 max, muscular strength and endurance tests, to functionality, balance and agility drills. Combine these measures with a detailed look at your blood lab work, nutritional profile, blood pressure, resting heart rate, etc. and we’ll begin to see where we stand in each of these areas. From that starting point, we’ll generate an action plan to maximize ourselves in each measure, thereby re-creating ourselves, so to speak into a “whole” that is truly better than the “sum of our parts.” I will be my own lab rat in much of this work and will try to explain the results in detail, so yes, more to come on these concepts.
