Wonderful Pistachios Pro Cycling

Based out of Santa Rosa, California, the Wonderful Pistachios Professional Cycling Team is made up of eleven national and international powerhouse cyclists who compete both nationally, on the UCI America Tour, and internationally in everything from charity to classic events.

Team director Josh Horowitz always thought that his successful amateur team, Liquid Cycling, would develop into something bigger – a professional cycling team. But for Horowitz, it’s about more than just being on top. “We want to make an impression with our teamwork and sportsmanship,” he says.

The team’s race calendar includes a mix of regional, national and international level events, including the Valley of the Sun and Southern Nevada stage races, the San Dimas and Redlands Classic races, the Philadelphia International Championship, the Tour of Uruguay and Ireland’s An Post Ras to name a few.

Beyond winning races, Horowitz and managing director Clay Womack have a long-term vision of success for their program – creating rider synergy. “If we can go out there and race professionally, respectfully, ride aggressively and put a stamp on each race whether or not we finish on the podium, then I will feel like we have succeeded,” says Horowitz.
